I've just had 'Wicked Wheels' re-furb two wheels and the finish looks good and close to the original, hopefully the finish will last but only time will tell.

Good service, all mobile so they can do anywhere there is space and power supply, not cheap at £75 per wheel but convenient.

Guildford Audi marked my n/s/f wheel and now want to re-furb it, should i ask for a new one?

Damn right they should...Audi warranty won't replace bent soft wheels if they've been curbed.

Yea, but I don't see why they should get away with refurbing an alloy when they have caused the damage in the first place.

I'd make the buggers pay! :-)

i had the same issue with my first car, one of the oilies took it on a test drive to get the mid morning tiffin... and wacked a curb...... dealer refused to replace the wheel and offered to get it refurbed, a week later it was bent anyway and they managed to get it through on the warranty, funny that, when it suits they can move mountains with a weeding trowl.

Pro Tyre in Slough use Pristine, quoted me about £100 each for her 17" tenspokes off the 1999.5 quattro T Sport and wouldn't guarnatee that all the tarnished rim would be perfect.....I could buy new ones for that £££.
Next time (?)I may go direct to Pristine
Got them done at Monty's ( Iver) ,OK but not good enough for you guys :) --- about £600 including four new Toyo TR1s,
