Parking sensor & arm rest release flap

Hey guys.
One of my rear parking sensors do malfunction every once in a while (of course when i need it the most in tight spaces).

There are alot of new sensors on ebay and the prices vary from 15eur to 100eur (oem).
1. Did anyone try the after market ones?
2. Do they need painting?

Also, my arm rest lid release button broke the other day.
Did anyone use this repair kit on ebay?

Audi wanted 150eur for a new lid, and perhaps i could just fix the button.

I got a couple of these after mine broke - seems to do the job perfectly, and at that price, if it breaks I have a spare anyway.
