Well, I could probably offer up another S (or a C5 RS), to introduce a bit more diversity (and colour!) to the mix... if it weren't for my aversion to 'pack' driving. It's not ended well for me in the past...ANDYTQ wrote:Im still the only lonely S on the list.

Pack drive is OK as long as strict rules are obeyed
No overtaking other pack drivers keep a good distance between cars and don't do idiotic overtakes
But saying that you always get one plonker that's just ignores these basic rules

Agreed. No-one should get caught up in any 'hero' driving because it always ends in one nasty expensive mess.
Re: RS246 Wales Road Trip - 8th-9th July
OK guys, serious question time: Do we do the Evo Triangle or not?
Plus, if anyone wants to help with the organisation of this, (Dougle Turbo is kindly helping me so far), then please shout and I will add you to the PM chain we have got going. Alternatively you can just post suggestions here.
All help will be much appreciated, as I never expected so much interest! Cheers

+1 to the hero driving. No sense and can all end up a horribly expensive stressful mess

Re: RS246 Wales Road Trip - 8th-9th July - Evo or no Evo?
If the farm house was a none starter if booked up being summer then somewhere like Llandudno would not be a bad place only about 30mins drive from snowdonia national park
Re: RS246 Wales Road Trip - 8th-9th July - Evo or no Evo?
Farm house is still under discussion. It's ridiculously cheap, but obviously being in the middle of Wales it's a bit, let's say, basic. And dated. But for less than £20 each for the night I don't think it's too bad. It is literally in the middle of nowhere so cars will be safe overnight. Anyone wanting more info I can send them a PM to get their thoughts on it.
The problem we have is that we only want it for a night, and most decent places are at least two nights minimum. Doug said we should try to spread it over two days but I don't think people will have the time for that.
EDIT - Technically it is a hostel, which we would just book for the night. Sleeps 16 on individual beds, 8 in each room.

The list could be about to get a hell of a lot bigger! A few guys indicated interest earlier in the thread that aren't on the latest list, only another 19! lol.
I am sending out a PM to those now to confirm interest.
