Maybe they got scared off or was a bit hard to jack the car up due it being next to the pavement?
Lets just hope the owner doesn't get him from a business trip, walk home from the tube station, then jump into the car and drive off for a pint of milk without noticing!!!!!

Do locking wheel bolts not stop this kind of crime?

Second RS I've heard of in the general area to have this done in the last few months - the other was Battersea..
