New Injectors

An orange engine warning light came on the other day, I took it to dealer, they put it on the diagnostic kit and it said it needed a "re boot". This they did and it seemed to solve the issue. However, after a days driving the light came on again, I took it in again, and this time I was told it needed new injectors. No problem I thought, its all under warranty and it cant be a big job. How wrong I was. Apparently the gear box needs to be taken out to get to injectors, its going to be at least 2-3 weeks !!!!
So, my question is, has this happened to anyone else? Car has done 50k miles and is 32 months old. I wonder how much this would cost if outside warranty !!!
Cant fault dealer though, very helpfull, and I have an RS4 as a loan car.
