Window Tints In The Morning

Post by R-S-4 » Tue Mar 21, 2017 9:12 pm

so i am getting my windows done in the morning, i appreciate what the law says ect ect but lets face it 25% on the fronts is not only a waste of money and time but looks $h!t.

I may go limo on the rear only, then dark smoke on the rear sides but i was wondering what most of you have put on the fronts ? and if you have any pictures please, im thinking maybe 50% fronts and 75% rear sides so as to blend it all in nicely without looking like a van so to speak.

That's std on rear (privacy glass) and then 35% on front, they put the lighter one on and it looked stupid so changed it, mine was done by pentagon london guy called Curtis
Most places will stick a piece on and you'll see pretty much what it looks like before doing the full install. Had many cars done and never a tug either, the coppers never have the gauge in the car to test it.

thanks appreciate it, 35% it is, looks nice. in your opinion would you do the rear sides 35% as well or 20% as yours looks around 20% if it was film and not privacy glass

apparently my rear windows were tinted 20% and not factory glass as i was informed by the seller but thats ok as it meant i spent the extra money on the lights.

so in the end i went limo black on back window 5% which at some angles you can still see through so it doesnt look too Saxo as some describe lol, the two rears i left as they were at 20% as they are dark but you can just see in, and i went 35% on the fronts so the change between front and rear wasnt all that big and blends nicely and as you can see the driver i guess i wont get too much hassle from the police.

So i got my front and rear lights done, i was thinking about this before but was unsure until i saw the fly eye coverings, which just darken down the lights but dont black them out so to speak and is legal, overall im very happy.

Just the rolled arches to get dont in the morning and that's it for this week, until my splitter and diffuser turn up sometime next week then thats about all im doing or it will be too much
