B8 RS4 Wanted - Low Mileage blue or Black

Post by V8mark » Tue Mar 14, 2017 12:04 pm

Hi Peeps,

The time is right :jump_clap:

As the title suggests I'm looking for a low mileage B8 RS4 in either Blue (sepang) or Black.

The 'must haves' for me are;

MY15
Mileage - less than 15k (the lower the better)
Pano Roof
B&O
Sports Pack
Reversing Camera
Black interior (have small children)

Must be in excellent condition I'm prepared to wait for the right car. so if you have a car that fits the description and you are trading in at some point soon, let me know! I'd prefer to buy from a forum member if possible.

feel free to PM me if you have a car/questions,

Cheers,
Mark

Why MY15?
Facelift was March 14 - in case it helps.

Just being nosy, what is it that appeals about really low mileage? Condition assumption or future values?

TBH i'm working on the principle that the newer the car and the lower the mileage hopefully the better the car is.

You are both right though (in what you are thinking), a well cared for car is what matters here.... not the age/mileage so much.....I'm not too worried about future values, they will be whatever the market decides at the time.

when I was looking for an Evoque last year I drove round looking at all sorts of cars with relatively low mileage and there is some utter s#ite out there, people obviously don't care about their cars!! It surprised me how much damage people could do to a relatively new car. Long story short, finished up buying a 3 month old car with less than 1k on the clock to get the condition I wanted.

Sounds good, but for some reason I really want a pan roof this time round.... otherwise sounds like a really nice spec ....... good luck if you decide to sell

You need the pano roof in my opinion with the black interior and the noise of the thing. It was on my essential list.

My thinking on my query was you will pay a heavy premium now on ones that are coming out of pcp based on mileage. In nit much time though you will lose that as once they are all on their 2nd + owners and gaining miles it becomes less of a differentiator and more about condition, colour and spec.

Good luck, amazing car.

@afsimba if you are ever selling off bits and going back to standard before a sale give me a shout

What's the advantage of the panoramic roof? Is it just a big sunroof?

I didn't bother speccing the pan roof when I bought mine, because I didn't want the extra weight. But when I came to trade it in at the end of last year every dealer I spoke to said they would have given me £700-£1000 more if it had the Pan roof because it's the most desirable option. Cars without the roof hang around a lot longer than those with.

Worth considering OP.

I'm a bit old school and like to have the windows down, it's the same sort of thing on the RS as it opens + you get the noise

LOL ... I've already broken my rules and I'm speaking to someone who might be willing to part with his RS which is over 20k miles and a 2014 car (and has all the options I need)!! But....... it looks like it has been really well cared for, and I agree that's what counts ........

I would rather save a grand and get one without. Never saw the point in sunroofs. Don't think I've ever opened mine!
