That's good then. Thought they were plug and play.

You just need to look at MRC site for the variety of power (hp and torque) outputs on stage 2. Obviously loads of factors in play but ultimately shows that cars will make different numbers indicating a plug and play is not optimal. although have to say you would think they would be very consistent

You can't go wrong there really though.
I always thought DMS was plug and play, generic map, not a fan tbh. I had an MTM 460 on my B5's and After it had been to MRC for a proper map (back then on the bypass!) it was loads better..
God no, quite the opposite. Custom maps fine tuned on their RR. Had DMS tunes on 4 of my cars &nset up Group Buys on Audi RS4's as well as F10 M5's. Was at their new West Midlands site this afternoon.
How did the remap go? I wasn't local so didn't have the chance to pop round. Is the Lambo their own or a customers, it's been there the last few days.

The Lambo was still there but no idea if it's a DMS car or Ramus Porsche next door.

My FFRR didn't get done in the end as it became clear that RR have changed the ECU's on the MY17 so DMS have requested the revised protocol which they should receive within 3 weeks & my car will get done then.

Hi

I've got the stage two Litchfield map with non res Milltek.

Was on car when i bought it.

Certainly feels rapid! I haven't got a Dyno read out with exact figures and when I emailed Litchfield asking for details they wouldn't tell me!!!.....there bumpf says 730bhp...I certainly don't believe that to be fair....I "think" it's about 660ish??

Personally if I keep the car much longer il probably get it to MRC for their map.

I spoke to MRC today re the plug replacement? They seemed to think for a standard stage 2 with performance air filter it shouldn't be necessary, however if after the map it gets misfires then it may need a plug change which won't be cheap. £40 a plug plus all the fitting costs😫

Wow - fingers crossed mine doesn't develop this misfire!
I'm having stage 2 end of the month - if my local tuner can get me in.

I've read other threads on this. Seen all the ones about misfires which seems to be a known problem awaiting an Audi fix. I'm sure other on here have gone the MRC route? I've only ever gone MTM on my last two RS6s but the price is just getting silly. Any advise would be much appreciated. I did say this one would stay standard but that was a month ago 😀😀😀
Why not to choose ABT, they are very well known tuning company for years, never heard any misfires from ABT

Never really thought about ABT. I think the misfires is something else and nothing to do with mapping. Perhaps I should just stop reading old threads on mapping C7s. Just read one about problems with the COD using a tuning box ???

😂😂. Over priced and not needed. Never had them on either of my previous two RS6s both mapped.
