Looks good!!! Does the black optics package actually mean carbon fibre package like it did in the UK? Carbon fibre splitter and diffuser, £6k option?

Picked up the car, such a beast. Is it possible to deactivate the star-stop permanently?

You don't need to. You can control whether Stop/Start activates by modulating the use of the brake pedal as you come to a halt; the car will not stop the engine unless you signal it to using the brake pedal. You can still use AutoHold even if you don't activate Stop/Start.

I only use Stop/Start at traffic lights where I know there will be a lengthy wait.

I used VCDS to change a setting so it can remember the last start stop setting so once I turn it off it will still be off the next time I start the car and stay like that until i turn it back on again. And I inverted the light in the switch so the light is normally off when start stop is off.

That's quite a smart solution Mike - you are not just a pretty face!

Im guessing you can do similar for ADS - so it comes back on at the last stored setting, rather than going to auto (I think this might have changed on the most recent Audi, I think my dads stays in individual if you left it in individual)

You do realise you will have 25 pm's from people today asking for a 'how to' guide

ADS always starts in the last selected setting. However, if this was dynamic, then it is still in Dynamic but the gear mode is D and the exhaust flaps are shut so you need to cycle round to Dynamic again or just pull the gear lever to go into S mode and this will open the exhaust flaps too. I have my flaps disconnected so the only issue for me when starting is that it is in D mode which is fine for me whilst engine is cold. Not found a way to alter the ADS setting with VCDS yet. However, Audi have just announced a new update for certain RS3s as they incorrectly stay in full on dynamic mode when starting. This means that it is probably quite likely that a remap can fix this annoyance and make the car start in full noise mode all the time.
