Kwik-Fit

Post by Crapsurfer » Sat Mar 04, 2017 12:03 pm

I have to replace the front and rear brake pads on the RS. Has anyone considered Kwik-Fit, with their lifetime replacement free? I had my C4S for 9 years and put 6 sets on that, so whilst they may be pricey compared to me getting my tools out, across the lifetime I plan to own the car it may prove a no-brainer.

The rest I am ashamed of.

I wouldn't personally let anyone at Kwik-fit near any of my cars let alone my RS. The reason they offer these deals is because they can;t get the work in because they are so bad.

Your car, your choice but an absolute no for me.

very much depends on your local kwik fit

mine are pretty good, but most I've let them do is fit tyres, MOT and swap wheels ... I could just about make a leap of faith for them to change pads, but no more

Nope and nope.

I'm sure they will have a get out clause covering certain value over xmany years with the cost of the rs brakes I can't see it being worth the paper it's written on.
