Greg Howell Southam Bodies

Post by Carlson » Sat Feb 25, 2017 8:05 pm

I needed my RS6 tidied up after 7 years of London ownership.

After asking Doug and Ben at MRC who they would recommend i took it to
Greg Howell at Southam Bodies.
I am very happy with the work he did, including the wheel refurb he arranged.
He kept me in touch with how things were going, gave me options and kept me up to speed
with the price as i added bits and pieces to the job.He is a top bloke.

Good to hear some positive feed back. Think the last time he was mentioned on here it was negative.
What did you have done to the car?
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

I think I recognize the plate - haven't I passed you one day on M40 - been just before Christmas - between Oxford and Beaconsfield we passed each other couple of times :) :)

BTW Car looks really good. I had some TLC done last May. Including the wheels.

Hi Chunky,

I had front and rear bumpers sprayed to remove multiple parking 'incidents' ( Chelsea tractors bashing their
way in and out of spaces), parking bump to front quarter done in our abscence again and a little scrape on the
rear wheel arch (my fault :boohoo: ) repaired and sprayed.I also had all 4 wheels refurbed and some parking sensors replaced.

I always do a lot of google searching before going anywhere and i found 99.999% positive feedback.

One of the reasons i am posting on here is because i think this guy is very good and one moaning customers word
should not put people off. I speak as i find and i'm happy.

Yes Viper, i remember it well- i was travelling back from MRC- haha! Thanks for the kind words about my car.

Thanks Mavada, I love the car and have been pampering it for 7 years now.
When I first bought it I took it to Unit 20 for a no expense spared
mechanical refresh at 57K- I'm the second owner.

From then on it's been to MRC for an annual service every year.
They have been brilliant and the car is now on 94K.
