The forum is called 'Problems logging in or registering', and he is having problems registering, so it seems like the right place to post to me... and with tens of thousands of pounds of registered users money, I'd rather he post here than nowhere. At least that way we can copy it to the S4 board for everyone to see and it can be removed from here if necessary.

I've sent you another email A16VKR. Please sort your issues with other users offline.

Neil, thanks for you input... Just so we are clear:

1 - We have been trying to get emails through to A16VKR for a couple of weeks, but had no response. We are aware of the issues with AOL email addresses and working to get this sorted. In the meantime it has only resulted in a slight delay on delivery.

2 - This forum is called 'Problems logging in or registering', not 'Group buy feedback'.

3 - This Group Buy has absolutely nothing to do with RS246, and hope that you have all protected your investment in the event that A16VKR is not an honest and trustworthy person and disappears off on holiday with your cash. Future Group Buys will be monitored closely.

4 - We run this site for fun. We keep it running with favours and revenue from advertisers/sponsors.

Yep - Smartgroups is scuppered at the moment by the look of it. If it's not up again shortly I will send an update via e-mail. There will be no posts on this forum. It has to remain private. Rest assured things are moving along.

Im getting a little *issed at this now!
Firstly it was never a group buy instigated by RS246!
The thread has been removed at the request of the original poster, and other forum members.
We have assigned a section, clearly marked "Problems loggin and registering"
This is not another part of any scam.
Also we have warned everyone regarding such "group buys" and any further one will have to have the Crews Blessing.

The thread is in Site News, Issues and suggestions section.
And stimp, I'm sure it's not how you meant it to sound, but your post did sound like you were blaming the RS246 crew for being part of the scam, when they have been nothing but helpful in the matter. The thread has been moved to the registered users only section because it was attracting too many outside views and reflecting badly on the site.
As stated in the other thread, I would appreciate it staying online either until the matter is resolved, or until someone has made a copy of all the information in the thread. There is some important stuff in there.

Apologies for offending anyone. Was just getting concerned about lack of response and the fact that any evidence was disappearing before our eyes. Although this was not a group buy instigated by the founders of this forum my thoughts were that it represents the members and could be used to communicate as such, the fact that members have been ripped off for significant amounts of money is very important. Personally I think his picture and details of crime should be on the home page to help stop any other persons getting ripped off by this thief.
The group buy started on this forum and was allowed to continue with a large number of members to spending hard earned money. When now placed in a situation of losing all control of what is happening with my money or taking control and dealing with it in my own way I felt the need to provoke a reaction and find out what is happening, unfortunatley posting on RS246 appeared the best method. I don't have a problem logging in hence the reason I looked under the Audi tuning and modifications section for this thread, apologies again that I did not realise it had moved to the registered user section. I will check it out now. Please let it be noted that I do not hold the the RS246 crew responsible for what has happened in any way and participated on my own free will. I am also very grateful for any assistance in rectifying situation.
