Can't wait mate.. Really looking forward to being able to get in a few shows..

I definitely haven't got into this because it's a cheap hobby, if I wanted cheap I would have got into bird watching... Lol.
Ozzyz wrote:+1 for Plush, they installed a full Accuair system with airlift performance struts in my car and couldn't be happier with it, very clever system.
The B7 also looks so good slammed to the floor :smile_smoking:
They look soo good..
Bird watching can be expensive mate ;) ha ha unless you really mean bird watching and not going down strip joint lol

New badges arrived today. Not sure if i'm going to fit the rear but will get the sides on this weekend. To be honest the quality isn't the greatest, the pieces have different heights and the edges don't have much of a clear coat on them... But they look good on.

Also made a deal today on a set of R8 twin rear calipers and brand new 356mm steel disks. Hopefully have them all on once I get mounting brackets and the front calipers off and all 6 refurbished. Pending a wheel decision but currently thinking a pastel yellow... :rocker:

Where you gonna mount the reversing camera? I got a great (and cheap camera) from eBay that went into the boot handle but kept the lock. If you use a q7 camera you lose the lock and it costs a fortune so the option I found meant it looked OEM but still had full functionality of the handle. Think the photos of it are in my stereo thread.

Haven't got that far yet. I did have a quick look the other night and it looked like it wouldn't be an issue getting it next to the handle. I know I've seen some other options such as replacement handles with camera mounts (probably similar to what you are referring to Mike) too which could be a fallback option..

I'm really excited to get the head unit fit, the tuning capabilities are pretty impressive. No need for a DSP anymore as it's all within the unit. Oh and now hopefully I won't get taken through central London every time i want to go to the shops.. Just need to make a decision on other components..

Well the day has come. On my way home after picking the car up from plush. Man it was worth the 11 week wait. It's been fit with their new airbags, first rs4 actually and second Audi after Jules beat me to it, bags are controlled with an elevel management system. Full interior black alcantara and leather with silver stitching, blot forged 3 piece rotis, full audio and some other bits. I'm still travelling home so I'll get some more photos and give some more details once she's home and unpacked.

All I can say right now is that I ducking love it!!!! Definitely won't be to oem guys tastes though. Lol.

Next up is MRC magic and new BIG brakes.

I'd take that back...suspension looks FUBAR'd.

Re-trim looks nice though :thumb:

Awesome mate. It looks great. Bet you are well and truly happy. Massive transformation.

Did you retire the sport cloth seats then? They are a great seat and I bet a few folk on here would have swapped, plus cash for their full leather.

Do you mind me asking how much the interior return was from Plush? PM if you prefer.

Hope you enjoy the journey hope. Bet you get a lot of looks on the road.

I tell you what Sam the handling is no where near as good with air. I was running kw springs with drc before, when you turned you knew where it was going, the air is much softer. A bit like driving a standard a4, I really didn't expect such a difference. I guess that's compromise I made though, looks over handling. Well I prefer the look I know you're an oem man.

Nice one jony! It's all coming together now. Not sure on the yellow lights and the wheels yet. Think they might grow on me though. Some of the other wheels I see on the air ride scene are horrible, obviously for attention grabbing, (or maybe I'm just getting old) but these are nothing like those.
The interior looks ace! And the boot install too. Where is the tank? Under the floor? And the sub amp?
Did you go for new door speakers / amps too?
I should have popped in to see it this morning.
