Hi all,
I've retrofitted the Ceramics brakes on my 2016 facelifted RS6. I'm wondering if someone is kind enough to post a full VCDS scan of their cars with the Ceramics? I understand that the ABS controller coding needs to be changed, and I'm trying to compare the differences between a steel vs. Ceramic option.
Thanks all!

Is it not in the long code helper as "Ceramic Brake System Installed" or something equally obvious?

Nope, it is not that 'obvious' in terms of coding. There is no label file available.MartayMcFly wrote:Is it not in the long code helper as "Ceramic Brake System Installed" or something equally obvious?

C6 ramics need ABS and airbag recoding.
I imagine C7 to be similar.
If you have a registered VCDS cable, you can contact Rosstech for the full label file and work out the coding.
Or if you are friendly with your master tech/Audi Assist guy, he can code the module for you

Thanks for the tips - I've asked Ross-Tech and they don't have the label file for the C7. Right now I've managed to code the Brake Disc Wipe function to High (it was Normal previously). Other than that, the Audi Master-tech mentioned there is no other coding required.
