DIS taking 10 mintues to power on

Hi all,

My car's developed an issue with the DIS where in that it powers on with the ignition then will just go blank and then intermittently flicker on for 10 minutes until it returns permanently.

which seems to list the fault, has anyone had this before and know someone reputable that can fix it?

have a look at this company revtronic http://revtronic.com , they do cluster repairs see if they can help you out , not fully read that thread you posted but i guess its a duff chip or capacitor

Had a similar issue with a Q7 dash. After some research found the issue is the transformer that drives the back light for the display.

Thanks buddy I'll take a look when I get home, I assume this just needs to be soldered on?
