I didn't think the C7 had a "fake" exhaust noise piped in?

Nope not kidding sorry...the noise coming from the back of the car sounded weird. Asked the dealer and he confirmed (rightly or wrongly) that it was coming from rear speakers. I thought it was strange as well.

No RS6 I know has piped sound. The exhaust valve opening and popping etc is a bit contrived but real. As for Audi salesman's product knowledge? Well less said about that better.
Assuming Audi haven't introduced this without telling anyone except your sales chap.
Anyone else heard of this?
