I didn't think the C7 had a "fake" exhaust noise piped in?
Soon as I was giving the C7 the beans all I could hear was a synthesised exhaust noise coming from the back. I asked the dealer if it was what I thought it was and he confirmed it. The car was on stock exhaust but it was still disappointing to hear. BMW has the same on the M5 which is ridiculous.
I also had the fake exhaust note piped through he speakers on my M4, very disappointing, and when I asked BMW how much an MPE was I was told the best part of £3k!

My car doesn't have any fake sound so it might be a pre facelift thing. I bet it can be disabled though and get a proper exhaust fitted.

BMW saw the light with the LCi M5, as unless i'm deaf you can't hear any synthesised exhaust noise in the car so i guess it was either removed on the later cars or turned right down. That said, the standard exhaust doesn't shout like many would hope for, however for me i'm fine with that given the nature of these cars as have done the loud exhaust period so know an aftermarket set of pipes could be added to heighten aural pleasure is just fine.

Usual incorrect knowledge at Cambridge audi where my car has sat since November 2016.
Just my 2 pennysworth
Wheels - they buckle without track use.
Brakes - they warp without track use.
Dynamic steering - it can fail leaving you with no directional control.

Sad when things end up like this. It completely ruins what should be a fantastic experience. The RS6 is a good car when you get a good one, but there do appear to be a large proportion of lemons. It does make me glad I'm out of mine now.

Oh it's a convertible model and it has more squeaks and rattles than a skip full of tin cans on a cobbled road

At least it is the right time of year for a convertible.... :audibash: :audibash: :audibash:

Although it might actually be the right time for one by the time they figure out what is wrong with your car.
