You would get in to a FL for that money!
The spec was impressive and sounded great with the sports exhaust. I couldn't even get into the cheaper one so there was no point chasing the daytona one.
My car is better spec than that (but doesn't have the pano roof), 2015 FL and has 6k miles, I paid less than the screen price on that one :biggrin3:

Says rear end upgrade. Hmm, that's odd. Shunted?

I think he just had the later rear lights fitted, probably for the sweeping indicators. I saw someone on Instagram did exactly the same yesterday (not due to a rear end shunt).

Ouch. Even if I had £10k to put down I wouldn't (not on a car anyway) and certainly not with those premiums. My car is on finance and is currently in £1k negative equity. Bit of a disappointment but am not admitting defeat just yet. Am going to call around other dealers and Independents to see what they can do and go from there. It may end up with me privately selling my C6 but will see what the others say first.
Surely, you either put down a bigger deposit, or you have bigger monthlys? If you want to put down a smaller deposit, you will have bigger monthlys! :bigblink:

If the C6 is in negative equity (according to Audis valuation as a px) absolute minimum you'd need Audi to increase the C6 px by a grand to match, or better still sell the C6 privately and pay off the finance and pocket any change to put towards your deposit.
Will chase down some other avenues but its looking more likely that I'll be putting my loon up for sale on here and go from there.
I was also considering looking at RS4's but I think I'd miss the power and I was also shocked to learn that they only have a 55 litre tank only and get around a 300 mile range. Thats the same I get from the C6.
I don't get more than 300 miles out of the C7.

Aren't they a different shape and therefore not a like for like swap?

The front are a different shape but I think the rears are a straight swap. The service is offered by the usual VAG retrofit websites for the rears but not the fronts.

Maybe it was mentioned earlier, dynamic package plus includes ceramic brakes or not in UK? As in my opinion for such car ceramic brakes is must be.

I didn't think so either. Mine certainly doesn't sound fake. Its not like the Jag F Types where a bit of fuel is jetted in to the exhaust system.

Test drove the blue one and yes theres quite a difference between the C6 and the C7! Felt much lighter and more frantic plus a lot more tactile. Loved it. Wasn't too keen on the fake exhaust note piped through the speakers (the M5 has this and was rightly mocked for it), but overall as expected an awesome car and a proper step up from the C6. The grey one had the sports exhaust which sounded a lot better than the stock one (the dealer said the Milltek is also a must have), my Milltek tends to dominate the drive which is great.
Comfort mode on DRC was surprisingly smooth (compared to the bouncy castle ride on comfort in the C6), and the dynamic steering felt fine too. Loved the way the arse end wriggled when I nailed it first time!
Then came the big sticking point. You either put down a sizeable deposit and have smaller monthly payments or you put down a small deposit and have big monthly payments. Not sure how you intend on funding or making the purchase if you don't want to do either? Unless buying outright.

Soon as I was giving the C7 the beans all I could hear was a synthesised exhaust noise coming from the back. I asked the dealer if it was what I thought it was and he confirmed it. The car was on stock exhaust but it was still disappointing to hear. BMW has the same on the M5 which is ridiculous.

Just to put my side of this thread to bed it looks like I'm not going to be able to get into a C7 just yet. As my C6 is still on finance I haven't got the £10 -20k lying around to throw at getting a lower monthly premium for a C7. If I even had £20k spare I wouldn't be putting it into a car! I learned that lesson the hard hard way years ago and I believe in appreciating assets (such as property). It's an awesome car as you all know but for now it's out of my reach. I'm still in a great place with the C6 (a car many still lust after) so I'll spend some £ tweaking it to improve where it's lacking (lights for one) and then see where I am down the road as the C7 is a natural progression as I see it. And that's me having come from 18 years with BMW!
As always the advice on here has been fantastic and you have my thanks. Cheers
