Could have raised the bar a bit more and made it an Ass to mouth situation.

You need to remember that I was offering the OP some advice, I didn't think he'd want to involve his FiL in an ATM situation, hence me just keeping it simple. Just for record, which way were you thinking? FiL's ass to daughter's mouth or daughter's ass to FiL's mouth?

Tis a no brainer to me. Why would you consider bumming the father in law??????? If this were Eddie I was talking to then I could understand, come on mate, we've drank together.

The dotted lines at the top are a reflection.

Whilst we are in the subject of bums, how's about this for a dirty one!

It wouldn't be me bumming the FiL, it'd be the OP! Which begs the question, would it be more torturous for the FiL to take an ATM of his daughter's stank or just take a length up his chutney locker?

I think this thread has two very distinct topics going on, however, I believe both topics remain relevant, to a degree.

I think you'd get away with a smart repair on that Chris. As long as the rest of the car is masked off I think you should be ok. Is there a decent paint place buy you? Take it there and see what they say, i'd doubt they'd take the bumper off for that.

How you gonna punish the father-in-law then? You got 2 options.

Have you picked up many stone chips in the 3 years since the bumper was last done, Chris?
The 2 factors combined may help justify a full respray (and provide a silver lining of sorts)?
You'd need somewhere decent to match the paint up, though, without also needing to blend it in to the wings/bonnet...

Its all fixed!. I managed to wangle a slight discount for additional work on fixing a deep scuff on the rear too. Picked it up in the dark and rain so wasn't too hopeful of being able to check their work, but she was tucked away nicely in the workshop keeping dry and the work look very good. I'll give it a few days and give her a nice clean to inspect it more.
