Thanks to Nick's link, I took a punt on one of these last week as the front passenger side was on the way out for a while now, to the point where you could only close the door very gently/slowly for it to always close/lock.TechNick wrote:Kully - check out http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331078677342
Believe it's the one Matt bought previously ( in the link he provided in the other thread). It's £26 delivered, but looks like a repro rather than OEM.
Hmm, that is both interesting and potentially annoying. However, she is at the Garage currently so will get one put in and see. If it is plop I will get an OEM one.Ajc wrote:I had one of these before Xmas and although the lock it's self seems OK. It doesn't activate the interior light and occasionally the door is difficult to open

As it is at the moment, I can unlock the car, open the door, close the door - and it will automatically relock since it doesn't think I opened the drivers door at all.
He did. However, Audi stealers have wised up. Apparently the practice of customers/victims pre-lubing was lowering Audi staff morale, so they commissioned a leading consultancy to sort it out. Their solution was to issue all Audi staff dealing with customers/victims with a mircofibre cloth and citrus spray. The official procedure is to degrease and dry the customer/victim thoroughly before 'going in dry' to extract their money via their rectum.kvxxy wrote:Just realised you may have meant lube for somewhere else lol in which case this may be a common feeling with audi
How do they punish you then? Your ring is so slack (so i've heard) the above wouldn't bother you.bam_bam wrote:He did. However, Audi stealers have wised up.
