RS6 Performance Ascari Blue Friday

Post by mark758 » Wed Dec 14, 2016 2:57 pm

Changing from my 'std' 560 RS6 to 605ps on Friday....will I notice any difference....really?

Any issues putting 10mm spacers all round on air suspension?

The only difference you'll notice is the hole in your wallet!

Seems like an odd move to me, why move from one to other?

Spacers will make your wheels drop off.

Maybe moving from pre-FL to PE would make sense for the added visual change, but if you're going from FL to PE... you'll really struggle to notice any change.

Well, will be interesting for you to give us your feedback.

You are getting an exclusive colour to the PE, so that will be a pretty obvious difference!

Spoken to my favorite tuner no problem with mild spacing on air suspension.

Interested to see how the overboost works exactly....not much detail so assume it just wakes up on full throttle.

Will post findings compared to DRS 560.
That suspension didn't agree with 3 year old passenger at all unfortunately. Standard air no issue.

I assumed it was similar to other cars I've had where if the revs don't rise as quick as they should with WOT (such as if you're towing a lot of weight or going up hill) it would automatically give a slight boost increase (but extra torque in the case of the RS6).

I've gone 15 rear 12 front although yet to fit - I'm also on air.

Are you thinking of lowering?

Not at the moment, but gap from outside face of alloy to edge of wheel arches needs sorting :)

Air suspension feels much better suited to roads, drs for track though.

605 feels torquier than 560.....

TPMS malfunction re-occuring on day 2.....unimpressed.
