Id also like to have the rear and front lights tinted but unsure whats the best way to do this? dont want them painted. I did see that the red RS6 on this forum had the roof bars wrapped in black. do you know if this looks any good? not something i would do but intrigued as to how well that turns out.

What bits to you have to go on? Havent seen any IG posts of your car for a long time. I have gone a bit crazy with car posts lately!!
Been really busy at work lately and the darker evenings mean less time for photos so not posted anything for a while.
I've got a black grille and more carbon trims that need to be fitted at some point. There's a couple more bits on the way and I need one last bit.

If you don't want to spray your lights then you could use lamin-x. I've got it on my headlights and think it's great. The only problem for me was that I already had paint protection film on my headlights and I didn't want to take it off in case I didn't like the lamin-x so now have 2 layers of film and you can see where I didn't get it dead flat. Putting it straight onto bare headlights should be fine.
The other problem with lamin-x is the lack of places to buy it from in the UK. You can buy the precut sheets from the US but this cost me a fortune and had to add import duty etc on top of it. And they don't do avants on the US and I accidentally bought the saloon rear light shape by mistake so it doesn't fit. But you can buy the plain rectangular sheets easily enough in the uk. My ppf guy said he can run the plain sheets through his cutter to make them the perfect shape and size for my lights next time.

Brilliant, thanks dude.

There are so many carbon bits I would like but the prices are scary!

Carbon Designz had a sale on last week, might still be on.

What else would you get. I keep getting tempted by the roof spoiler but would want to see it on a car first as I'm not sure it would work. Same for the roof rails. And couldn't have both, that would be too much. You are having your window trims done aren't you?

Window trims done in carbon, I am a bit concerned now as i think i should stick to black. Popped up to see how they are getting on but the car is all wrapped up in a big bag to keep the dust away. Trims are looking great though.

They have told me that it will be ready tomorrow :)

Jason from KW in the uk has the carbon spoiler and it looks great, I would like to do the roof and spoiler but keep the roof bars either black or titanium.

I didn't realise Jason had the carbon spoiler. I'll have to take a look at that.
Looking forward to seeing your car done tomorrow. Don't forget the photos.

16th of January is there latest date. Could arrive any day from now apparently.

Wheels, I have ordered some Rotiforms from Luke along with the non-res milltek. They won't be here until new year either.

I have had the RS6 badges done solid black, even the red square hope they look ok!

Oh yes, of course, I forgot you mentioned the Rotiforms already.

The badge is fairly easy to replace if you don't like it. I went with a black one at the rear but kept the red square bit. Ditched the rear rings though.

Yes at the moment I have no rear rings but had them painted just to see what it would look like.

I have had everything under the bonnet, callipers, springs and all plastic trimmings ceramic coated which will make cleaning much easier. The front brakes create huge amounts of dust!

Do you know if the window trims are riveted like the old ones? Jason said they arnt but I have a feeling they are.
