We went for middle of OEM tolerances and fixed the problem. Plus right cold tyre pressures. Still get some pull overtaking overtaking on full throttle over crown of cambered road but hardly noticeable - before the geo it was bad, felt like it was pulling me in to car I was trying to overtake.

Right. So going off yours and marks settings they both seem in the middle of oem settings. And cured both your torque steer. So I think it's best to get them to do mine around the middle of oem settings. If cures mine then everyone who has this problem could go to any kwikfit with these settings to have it done the same saving some £££

Will update once they have done it. Was really thinking about having that rear toe at zero but now seem 2 of you with oem settings that's the safer option imo

With mine it's not just! over the crown or lines of road even tried a blast down a wide quite open road with no markings from standstilll floored it and front end felt like it was floating was gripping on steering wheel trying to keep it going in a straight line... if there was a kurb I rate it would hit it! Kinda scary!

No, I never had any torque steer. Mine improved turn in and made the car feel a lot lighter.

I wouldn't recommend kwik fit to anyone. I spent about 3 hours there and ended up with no adjustments made to the rs6 as they decided after 45 mins they are allowed to adjust cars with adaptive cruise control and they set my B7 up as a B8 then when I took it back for them to fix the guy told me he couldn't adjust the rear without a special tool kit. And I paid a fortune and it included free adjustments for a year or 2. I see why they offer that now; they're so <beep> no one will bother going back for their free adjustments. Cost me a lot less to get it done properly at a decent garage.

Sounds like tyre wear / pressure issues too.
What brand tyres you got and how much tread so they have? And did you check the pressures in the end?

Ye 42psi in each i had put in. Running continentals. 2 fronts about 3-4mm rears 1 is about 2mm and other 3-4mm. Strange how 1 tyre is a fair bit more warn! I also have a bloody buckled wheel also gettin done before I get alignment done. Had nothing but trouble with this car only had it a week now. Have also just been and got new front brake pads even though it had new pads fitted the day I bought the car but they been making all kinds of noises and rattling about there apec pads. Avoid! So got gen Audi ones also being fitted tomz.

Mate if I was you I'd first put a new set of tyres on your car cause all your tyres sound like they are nearly dead and are uneven across your axles. Then I'd put 41psi in the front and 38psi in the rear. Preferably Michelins. The end.

I wouldn't be running around with 2mm tread. Trying to put down 600bhp with no tread is no wonder it's not going straight. With 2mm at the back its probsbly diverting more power to the front and the front is then creating torque steer. I'd be getting a new set of tyres on the rear. Michelins should see you with a good improvement all round. And you should have higher tyre pressure in the front tyres than the rear (or maybe I should say lower in the rear as the front is about right isn't it?).

Well at least we managed to establish that Ian's picture was a cheese slicer in between all the nonsense about torque steer.
