The Grand Tour - Discussion thread

Post by Surrey Sam » Fri Nov 18, 2016 1:18 pm

Just finished watching the first GT episode.

I won't spoil it yet, as the show might be some peoples Friday night entertainment. I will say however that I enjoyed it, not perfect, but glad the three buffoons are back. Top Gear just need to sort their act out now and move that show forward.

It was way better than any of the new Top Gears IMHO

Some great bits, some experimental humour that just doesn't work but then there always was with these 3.

I enjoyed it too. Good to have them back and a great set of cars to open with... although I guess that means a risk of peaking too soon(?)

Found Clarkson having a real (not scripted) brown trouser moment in the P1 under braking quite amusing

I've been saying it for a while...Clarkson's dinner not arriving that fateful night was the best thing that could've happened for petrolheads. We ended up with 2 good shows out of it!

Really enjoyed the first episode
