Exhaust Manifolds

Post by Mik » Mon Aug 15, 2005 2:59 pm

Anyone experimented with aftermarket exhaust manifolds for the 2.7t?

Would be interested to hear thoughts on the subject as am tempted to get a pair of Autospeed tubular manifolds.

However, I am wondering if they are a good mod or not and whether they will flow significantly more....or enough to justify the price tag.

Yup thanks I will, but I was hoping someone might have those or similar on their car 8)

But would be interested to know peoples experiences around product quality etc. because the engine will have to be pulled again if they crack after 3 months. :?

I have the MTM manifolds. They cost arround 5500,- Eur plus fitting. It´s difficult to say if they are worthed the money because I´ve done this engine upgrade together with others. It´s a very expensive part but when you will see the stock and MTM manifolds next to each other you will laugh.
