which apple lightning cable?

OK I've looked, researched, bought some and tried and failed to find the answer to this.

I'm sure one of you must have solved this long ago, but i give in.

What's the right AMI cable to use in the C6 4f MMI to work with the apple lightning connector?
I've got the yellow (4F0 051 510 AL) and the green (4F0 051 510 AD) connectors and neither play ball.

I'm trying to connect to a 6th gen ipod touch, at a minimum i'm looking for simply music and control (have an older 30 pin ipod that works ok, so expect same level of integration) ideally looking for more than just music for my next plans etc.

So anyone running an apple ipod touch with lightning connector using AMI cable into the MMI? if so what's the part number please?

Use the standard cable and stick an adapter on the end.

I use this and it works a treat:

The phone is attached to the air vents via a magnetic holder. Ticks all the boxes and a simple solution.

Which magnetic holder do you use Stevo??

My iPhone 6s just won't work with the MMI so I've been left with no choice but to buy the aux cable and plug it in to the headphone socket.

Steve your car has 3G MMI doesn't it?

Car has 3G MMI yes. I use a magnetic one I got from Maplins and it's great. It's this one (make sure you get the complete kit with the magnetic plate):

Thanks mate. I think your iPhone works with your MMI because it's 3G.

Maybe worth speaking to Hazzydays to see if they can do anything about that retrofit wise?
