Spent the morning giving the beast a polish.
Nothing more than a wash with Meg's NXT car wash and then a good coat of NXT Tech wax.
Please excuse the quality they were only taken with the camera on my Nokia6680.
Here are the pictures...

Nice indeed... Cannot seem to get a decent finish on my car at all, despite full on Meguires kit.Looks great for a day or two, then the depth just goes and it looks dull again. Does anyone have a solution for stone chips - Chipsaway man suggested he could do a decent short term job, but after a couple of polishes the white residue will sit in the chips again. So annoying looks like someone has flicked Tip-Ex on the bonnet.. Presume the only option is a respray?

Mate,
I would suggest a mechanical buff/mop at a bodyshop. Get them to touch in the stone chips before they start. A respray seems a little extreme.
That would get the surface nice and smooth and get rid of any '<beep>' that might be on it. I know 'clay bar' does this, but god to get the professionals onto it. Then a good month or so of waxes 2-3 and I reckon she will shine.
