I thought they were rare but that rare ? that makes it almost twice as rare as a B5!

No it's not right. You are looking at the figures for 'Audi RS6'.
If you look at Audi RS6 quattro auto which includes the C5s, the number increased by 300 in 2009 (therefore must be C6s). So there are the 256 you mentioned plus there are approx 1110 C5's and C6s of which around 300 are probably C6s making a total of around 550ish.
Also noticed the C7 Performance is classified seperately so we can see exactly how many there are (194).

Yeah i never found it to be very accurate at all, if it was managed properly and had a decent setup it COULD be a terrific website but as it is now, useless really.

No way? really? these could become quite the investment then really... last of the big engines too, last real production car to have a V10, they only ran from 2008-2010

Nice to know the C6 RS is rarer on the roads then the C7 and even probably the C5.

hahaha! i meant more that it might not depreciate as much as RS's do over the years, might even break even on purchase price.... (around 30k) never going to be worth what it was new.

I have a number plate ive been wanting to use for so long just not had a car new enough yet

And i think i know exactly what that plate will be ;) i have to say it'll look nice if you can find one with a 10 reg!, think you'll struggle to find an C6 on one though, i've seen a few but most are 08/09's

I wonder if the people who have em on a 10 reg have still got hold of them? mind you 6yrs is long enough isnt it.... might be more choice come your time of looking, just keep an eye out! if i find any i'll FB message you the links!

Your more than welcome bud!

I'd love a C7 but like you its just too much money and i dont feel they are quite as special as some of the things you've built and as this thread says i think the C6 is rarer, be a lovely one for you to put your touch too!
Its something i've toyed with but i dont have the money to drop into it like that... maybe next year when you do yours i might join you and do a semi build, the interior is my main focus of improvement along with some more aggressive styling... power wise im more than happy haha!
Your the man to know about all things interior etc!! your builds are always out of this world!

Thanks so much for the kind words.

Its a real tricky one with stuff like the c6 RS6, for one I wouldn't air it, its to big and bulky
for after market set ups, I would however try and go crazy low static.
Body wise and looks they are very cool so again hard, would have to be just small details.
As you say Interior could really be gone to town on and wheels would need to be wow.
Always up for some joint stuff if we can make some savings

I mean not all your cars are to my taste etc, but i respect the time and effort gone into them! but no matter on the outside not a single one of your interiors has looked drab.
But certainly subtle outside details really as the lines are too smooth to be to over the top, i too wouldnt air it... personally i'll be running KW coilovers on the DRC as i like to have the option to go to stiff and soft (do not insert male joke here) and they are a very reasonable price.
I know Bilstien have a kit for the C6 but last i heard it was in testing, no news on its availability.

But yes interior is where my money would empty so i look forward to getting something done together, i'll abuse your contact base as you've been doing this a lot longer than me :P
