Wet weather..Steam pouring out of passenger headlight area..

Post by wrekka » Fri Nov 04, 2016 9:46 pm

Got caught out in a real heavy down pour in the car earlier. When I pulled up outside my garage door I noticed a lot of steam bellowing out of the passenger side headlight??? Now I never had anything like this on my pre-facelift c7. Exhaust manifold...??
Any thoughts??
cheers

My B7 did this and the C7 does too. There is an auxilliary radiator under the headlights and when it's raining and the car get very hot it looks like steam is coming from the headlights. I think there was a thread on here a while back about this and lots of people said the same (or am I thinking about the RS3 forum?).
