How does rock black look in the flesh? Is it a metallic or pearl finish?

Maybe the tv was available in its own on pre facelift then.
I am happy to swap the wheels with you mike :biggrin3:
If you can stretch them an inch or 2 maybe.

I would say more pearl, very interesting colour as it seems to change hue in different light settings. I will get better pics over weekend of it.

I think I will put 15mm spacers at back and 12mm at front - but I don't want the wheel to protrude outside of the arch you think I will stay within the arch with the 20s?

Yes I think that has been tried before with 21s and the 20s don't stick out any more than 20s do they? I can't recall if the width and offset is the same on both wheel sizes.

That'll be the one from HR Owen. :thumb:

I saw that appear on Autotrader, and I knew it would get snapped up at that price. HR Owen didn't list in their advert any of the extras, which I thought was strange.

How do the C6 and C7 compare, guessing your C6 was tuned?

No mine was stock but the difference between the two is night and day.

I remember the first time I drove the C6, it felt heavy could really feel the weight through the steering. C7 hides its mass really well, great poise and balance. Tech is great, seats really supportive. The box is great and works the engine well but I do miss the sledge hammer persona of the V10. That engine in my opinion is an all time great.

I prefer the sound of the V10 over the V8, I have a sports exhaust on the C7, but having had a custom on the C6, noise levels are really subdued. Looking at options to get more noise.

Over a nice place to be etc. But my heart still yearns for the C6 it was a special car!

Congrats on your purchase bro! Looks awesome!
I think if you had your C6 mapped, it would not have felt as heavy.

The C6 is a brick in comparison. Albeit a very fast brick ;)
