I then realised that I had forgotten the trailer was on the back with the Radical on it and the boot was full of tools
and spares etc.
Will log a more representative time later this week after trip to Oulton Park tomorrow !

"How fast will it go with your lightest weight, track car and tools in the back test"

no 1 Prawn 8.1 sec Fmic 500bhp (apx) mtm stage 3.
What next?
John Blade, that is an awesome time 7 sec .
My car is in the Garage getting new cam timing sensor and gasket .
When it comes back I am going to make it do this test in 7 sec.
I'm sure it did it once in 7.3 and also 6.8 but at the moment the best I've had is 7.5 maybe my last test was into the wind

Remember it becomes very easy to hit the watch on the favourable side of the start and stop points. There is a competitive element here after all! So that's half a second deviation already. Add to that trying to do all this at 110mph with one hand off the wheel...

I'm not really surprised that the 'stage 3' cars are running similar times as the 'stage 1' cars.I suppose the extra power the stage 3 cars have is mainly noticable at the top end.So all cars should have very similar times as long as the timekeeping is being done correctly.I had a passenger timing me....Mr Lambo (Known to various members of this site....) so am quite confident of the recorded times.
How about a side to side test one of these days.Would be interesting to to campare Revo stage 1 with Miltek cat bac v stage 3.....obviously on safe grounds.

How can the passenger have an accurate idea of the revs if he is sitting at an angle of 45' .
Seriously I would think most chipped cars should do the test in similar times that is why it is important and interesting. But the results are mixed. and deservedly so.

Further reporting will follow on my times,
Lets all be accurate and careful I use a nokia mobile and use the lap timing in the extras menu it is ace for this.
Seriously, private roads or Autobahn only for this test .
I Do not mind nor I'm sure does anyone else, if some people want to just make up there times as these jokes are always amusing.
It would also be nice if we could get some of those fast S4's on again but this time in the right gear.
My 7.5 is defo made up, I'm sure my car is faster than that really, some day I will prove it .

Hi John, would gladly have a run with you, but unless we could close part of the A3, I think we might be asking for trouble. You'd certainly stop faster than me. Yup I've moved out of shitsville SW11, and am nicely nestled in the cotswolds. Sods law I'll get my car nicked now, but what a joy, no more speed bumps, or 'mums on the run'...
