It's always good to hear actual SOLD prices and not asking :biggrin3:

What options are classed as the "must haves"?
I'm going for:

RS6 Performance (Privacy Glass, Sports Exhaust, and 21s std.) with:

Dynamic Plus pack
Parking Pack Advanced
Panoramic Sunroof
Audi Connect
Convenience Pack
CD/DVD Changer
Rear Side Airbags
Heated Rear Seats
5-Twin Spoke in Gloss Black
Gloss Black Styling Pack
Std. Trim & Seats
Nardo Grey

To be honest only the Rear Side Airbags, and Ceramics were essentials in my case. I just figured as I'll be keeping the car for a while (with an extended warranty) I might as well get some niceties too - it is my dream car* purchase (about to) come true after all! I just couldn't justify ~£6K on an uprated radiogram. A couple of K maybe.

Orangewheels are offering me a ~£11K discount on list, with a further £4K off if I go for the finance, collect from a dealer around S.W. London which is convenient for me. Works out to ~£88K for a £103K car.

Just waiting for a couple of other brokers to get back to me before committing. Will try my local dealer (JCT600) but I don't hold out much hope of them getting close. One never knows though...

*that's not entirely true, but until McLaren make a 5 seat estate car it'll do nicely.

Check the finance contribution, they've changed for October, I think it's 3.5k now.

All I can say is that I spoke to Orangewheels today at 14:00 following a quote request yesterday evening, they quoted £4K. £3.5K wouldn't be a deal breaker though. And I'm still more of a cash purchase kind of guy.

Completely agree. Particularly Rear Side Airbags IMO.

I sort of agree but not on the CD element. I have not had a CD in my car for 5 years now. The iThing does all the heavy lifting.
Some of the other stuff I do find annoying - full keyless go, reversing camera (its a big car and with the bumper slope and dark glass its is a little worrying sometimes)
