Dippy, those are the kind of times I get - my best is 5.3. I think something is wrong with my car too

I'd be curious for Dazzer to post an FATS run, that should be interesting... and Brett too... come on guys, it's for the sake of the community

I'm disappointed Mihnea - I expected at least some technical comment from you about my results!
Jonny,
my boost guage is fine, and still can peak around 1.35 bar. As I posted a while ago, it did seem low for about a week but then got back to normal.
The car is very much in need of a service which AmD will do soon (please no comments about costs), so I'll mention this to them for the RR tune-up. It may be just my old plugs and air-filter that are holding the engine back a bit...

RE: Re: To VAG-Com users, FATS times database for the Euro S
Dippy, sorry about that, I had stuff over my head here when I read your first post and didn't figure I was expected to give some input
IMHO yours and Jonny's aren't running too bad, the only issue that I see with your numbers (Dippy) is that IMHO you're running way too much boost for what the K03s can take reliably and efficiently in the long run... 1.35 Bar means very high exhaust backpressure (because of the K03 hotsides being so small and restrictive), which will lead to an engine that will detonate much easier than on lower boost, so this would be a normal explanation for your car running very low ignition timing on full boost.
I must now say that I have done a few more runs on Shell 98 RON on my car yesterday (was going for a few beers with DaveP in Brussels) and I have lost 0.3 of a second because of getting 6 degrees <beep> on full boost, my first run (the one that's posted) had been done on Total Excelium 98 RON, and IMHO that juice rocks in Belgium.
Dippy, if you want to find out more as to why your engine is holding back, log knock sensor CFs in channel 020, if they are pretty high, that is half of your answer. IMHO an S4 can do around 340-350 HP with a very free flowing exhaust by running very reasonable boost, the boost I'm running now (same as when I posted the first FATS run) is 1.2 Bar absolute peak and tapering to 0.8 at redline. Too much boost will make the engine flow lots of air (high MAF) but the problem is that when the engine flows that air but can't get it out through the exhaust (backpressure), you won't make good power, and that sort of power is also something that's not going to last for very long if you really have it (280g/s at ~6000 RPM being about 380 BHP)....

RE: Re: To VAG-Com users, FATS times database for the Euro S
We found the same with my S2. Running huge boost was great, but we had to run low advance. Now the car has had the boost turned down and running loads more advance the car is actually faster. Boost is a modest 1.7 peak and 1.35 redline.

Thanks Mihnea (of course you're not expected to give an input, but I do appreciate it!).
Please note that 1.35 bar is my absolute peak, something which I check just as a crude indication that there are no air leaks. When I'm not forcing such a peak, I usually get around 1.2 bar at WOT. Not sure what the boost is at readline - I'll check.
Interesting what you say about MAF - maybe my current 250 is peak is expected?
I've dug out the 280 log, and note that it's actually group 002, however this should be the same MAF reading???

RE: Re: To VAG-Com users, FATS times database for the Euro S
280 MAF is about 380bhp?? Surely thats never right from a car with a remap and exhaust?
250 MAF is about 340 bhp which is about what i would expect from a remap and exhaust? Does you car have the DP's too dippy?

Tom,
As far as I know it's the full Miltek system.

Guys, you have to catch the RPM points before 4200 and after 6500 too
and hit the throttle at 3k as well
Cheers,
Mihnea
