According to my insurance company a "no fault" claim against a 3rd party resulting in a full recovery would not effect my renewal premium, and to be fair that is no less then what I'd expect otherwise I'd be making an additional claim against the 3rd party to recover my "future" losses that could going on for years.Shinobi675 wrote:It's "no claims" not "no blame". If they have rung you, are admitting liability, and are offering to pay a bodyshop of your choice privately, sounds simples to me!
Damage doesn't look that bad, but I'd still be tempted to just go to the insurance and let them deal with it.
Really tough call though.

the problem is some insurers dont increase but some do - which did an article on this recently that i read this weekend.
Got quotes in We are up at £835 ex vat - with no replacement car so the haulier now wants to go through insurance.
