New site sponsor

Post by Tomson » Wed Jun 08, 2005 12:35 pm

Hi all,

As promised I have put my hand into my pocket and become an official site sponsor for RS246.

If you click on the Resource banner which will periodically appear you will be redirected to my site. http://www.resourcenetworks.co.uk

On the site you will find many bits and bobs, blank media, childrens mice, memory, cables, automotive bits and bobs - even some really attractive flame seat covers!

More importantly you will find the full range of Meguiar's Polish and car care products. I am able to offer these to forum users with a 10% discount on retail prices. Simply enter the discount code RS246 when you are in the checkout section of the order process.

The website currently does not have a feature for shipping outside the UK & Ireland. However I am more than happy to do this - just PM me.

Any questions please give me a shout...

Tom

**It should be noted that I am still awaiting the first delivery of polish from Meguiars - but it should be here any day** I will delete this when it arrives. Also if you click a product in the realted products section it appears without VAT, web designers are working on this as we speak - should be sorted by the end of the day...... Bloody tinternet !!!!!

Right guys - Had a load of Meguiars turn up this morning.

All of the list below is in stock and can be delieverd next day - if you want anything else from the range let me know.

Deep Crystal System - Cleaner, Polish and Wax
Quik Detailer
Quik Clay
Natural Shine - Rubber and vinyl protectant
Gold Class shampoo - both sizes
Scratch-X
Endurance High Gloss Tyre protectant
Gold class paste wax
Gold Class Liquid Wax
NXT Car Wash
NXT Tech Wax
NXT Spray Wax
NXT Tech Protect
NXT Paste Wax
NXT Speed Detailer
NXT Glass Cleaner
Application Pads
Lambs Wool Wash Mitts
Ultimate Wash Mitts

Thats it for the moment, remember all you guys get 10% discount, so prices should be really good.

Also used the NXT wax for the first time last weekend on a mates Cupra R, and was very impressed. As some of you are aware I am fairly obsessed with clening the RS and am going to get stuck in with some Quik Clay (Hopefully before the drive to Leman) and will let you know what I think of the results.

I was first intorduced to Meguiars by Bushy and although I still feel there are better polishes on the market - there are certainly none better for the price. I bought from Bushy over a year ago, I bought a full kit for my car for less than £70.00 and I stilll have most of it left and a very shiny car.

I am away from Thursday to Tuesday 16/06/2005 - 21/06/2005 so any order placed during this time will be despatched as soon as I get back.

Cheers,

Tom

Everyone,

I have just had some more Megs delivered - They only give you a discount if you buy by the BOX LOAD !!!!

HOT RIMS - Hot Rims product is safe to use on all wheel types even split rims, polished alloys or chrome finishes.

Simply apply Hot Rims to a cool wheel and let the highly effective neutralising agents penetrate brake dust and grime to break down contamination and loosen its hold.

Then hose away the residue to reveal the lustrous surface underneath.

I will try it on my alloys, which are split rims and polished - so we will see

Odor Eliminator - The only product that safely neutralises all odours immediately and permanently.

I will also try this as I left the sunroof slightly ajar on Saturday night and the rain was too much for the sunroof drainage channels. Still not completely dry and getting the wonderfull smell of damp carpets at the moment - not too disimilair to cats lag...nice

Ultra Safe Wheel Spoke Brush - This handy brush is ideal for complex wheel shapes such as detailed multi spoke alloys or traditional wire wheels.

This is actually quite a big brush. I will try it with the hot rims and report back. Looks like it will do exactly what it says it will do though

I also have all this in stock;

Deep Crystal System - Cleaner, Polish and Wax
Quik Detailer
Quik Clay
Natural Shine - Rubber and vinyl protectant
Gold Class shampoo - both sizes
Scratch-X
Endurance High Gloss Tyre protectant
Gold class paste wax
Gold Class Liquid Wax
NXT Car Wash
NXT Tech Wax
NXT Spray Wax
NXT Tech Protect
NXT Paste Wax
NXT Speed Detailer
NXT Glass Cleaner
Application Pads
Lambs Wool Wash Mitts
Ultimate Wash Mitts

I had to order some more Quik Clay, easily my bestseller - awesome stuff.

If you have'nt tried it yet - why not?

Remember just type RS246 in the shopping basket stage of the order, or just give me a call, or PM to discuss.

Quik Clay Mate (those natty Americans deicided to miss out the C, they are crazy !!!!)

Basically, wash your car in the normal way, and dry the bugger orf. Quik clay is a small rectangle of clay that you then rub against the surface of the car. It is supplied with some Quik (they are at it again) Detailer, it is really important to keep the surface wet, otherwise the clay will just make a horrible mess of the paintwork and be a real pain to get rid of. (interestingly enough, some chaps on another forum are using the solution they wash the car with instead of the quik detailer. i.e. Water with gold class car wash in, this way you get a free Quik detailer with your purcahse...NICE)

The clay gets rid of all the contaminants that stick to your car, the stuff you can and can't see. Tree sar, tar, overspray etc etc. It leaves the surface feeling like glass to touch, before you ghave even applied any waxes or protection.

Basically all the crap sticks to the clasy as you rub it across the surface.

Was unsure so used it on the RS, it truely is bloody good stuff.

Hope that helps mate.

I swear by it - I use the water and gold class with it, not the detailer. I find you should polish after using the clay bar though but it really gives a glass like finish...

Dunc, Just read my post and I do not make that very clear. The clay bar is preperation before waxing, YOU MUST WAX AFTER USING THE CLAY BAR. I was just trying to say that it leaves the car feeling like it had been waxed very early on in the cleaning process...

I get my coat.......
