RS246.com Track Day - Donington Park GP - Mon 25 July 2016

Donington Park GP with Matt Neal

Over the years, a few of us have strayed from Audi R/S/RS ownership but have remained in touch due to a passion for track days (and racing for some of the more committed individuals). Would be great for others to attend and we have selected a number of Circuit Days events this year that we will be attending. Circuit Days are excellent, well organised and also offer RS246 members a discount :)

Paul (W8PMC) and I have bought a Renault Clio 172 Cup as our track toy (Sorry but anything VAG was outside our budget).

T'was a great day. Dry and just busy enough. There were some other RS'es there, anyone from here?

I ended up running both cars because the Clio caliper seized in the morning, so I had to do a quick fix, drive home and swap to the GT-R :)

Not sure anyone else went, not our usual gang anyway. Of course the Circuit Days team were there and they are always a hoot.

I think I must have had about 10 laps in Nicole before she over "heated" and started to melt the centre cap!!

They "were" relatively new but they're cheap anyway :D

'ramics on a Clio.... Now there's an idea. Do you know of any that will fit in a 15" wheel?

LOL. Clio is much fun. We're probably going to end up spending more on her than we intended to, but still a lot less than the Datsun and the bimmer. Come along sometime and have a ride :)
