I think my 1969 Viva was the last car I owned where I went out of my way to find the cheapest tyres I could find (should I splash out on radials, or will these crossplys do the job OK?).

So the answer is no. But I wouldn't on any car, no matter what the cost.

just wondered as I have hear various things.

I have had 2 cars with nankangs (on when I bought them) and go to admit I never found an issue. They were very good.

I think we focus too much on brand names and everyone jumps on the same band waggon. Would I go out and buy them for my RS? probably not
