Julesm

The white car didn't have the gearbox remap hence the torque was lower plus my new car has had the secondary cats removed which adds about 40-50bhp.

I am not sure if Doug ran my new one at very slightly higher boost due to the low mileage as the car is pretty much as new!

My current C6 is only doing about 2K miles a year as I have a new S8 4.0 tfsi as a daily.

Cheers

Nick

Looks like a bargain to me. Especially with having audi warranty. Looks mint

that car has been on sale for some time now. it appears a genuine example worth inspecting and if all the paperwork stacks up then defo worth a punt especially with the audi warranty.

It's a 2G MMI but looks pretty tidy and worth a look I'd say. + 1 on the Audi warranty, mine goes in this month for some warranty work at Audi and if I didn't have that (or nearest equivalent) I'd be looking at a very big bill....

The biggy is the coolant lines corroding, on top of that my tyre pressure monitor system seems to be acting up and the rear window heating element takes ages to kick in. I will also get them to have a look at the infamous oil seals while the engine is out and also check out the wheel bearings which may have started clicking. I dread to think how much the bill would be if I didn't have the comprehensive Audi warranty.....

I looked at the audi warranty but they exclude coolant hoses and any other online warranty.
Unsure on oils seal. Might be classed as wear and tear now

The white car was sold in October last year (I was the seller!) and the new owner has done 7k miles in her but is looking for something more economical hence she is up for sale again. I fitted new discs and pads all round plus new MPSS tyres (at 64k miles) so she is worth the asking price! I would want £10k more for my current 22k mile car!

Anyone else confirm that please? Have looked online and it does mention corrosion not being covered-oils leaks also unless the engine has to be removed. I have the comprehensive cover and am surprised that the coolant pipes wouldn't be covered! It seems to be a common issue-has anyone else had it fixed under warranty?

Just been speaking to my local Audi place on a similar subject as I'd like to get my lines done at some point this year. Roughly, they reckon on 30hours for an engine out job. They're currently doing the coolant lines on a C6 without removing the engine. Its difficult, means that a lot of the engine has to be stripped off and the tech looks like he's had his hands in a blender.

Yeah it's a huge job! Did they confirm that it is/isn't covered by Audi warranty? I created a topic about this on May 15th with a photo of my coolant lines that you can have a look at for info

I am almost 100% sure I've spoken to someone about this in the past and they said their Audi warranty covered the costs. Best thing is to approach your local garage first and find out.

Thanks mate that's what am hoping! Mines booked in for later this month to get it done....the girl checking it in said 'the technicians are going to love you!' Which goes to show how much of a bitch of a job it is to sort out.
