Ian I keep looking at the Clifford site but that device looks really old and why does no one else do it? Do you have it?

Edit - no I don't have it - I don't think anyone is going to steal my 99 A4 Avant DIY wagon! This morning I realised I'd left it unlocked overnight. Again. Sadly nobody had stolen it

I've just had quote to add CCTV. Police were keen on it but admitted that it is not much of a deterrent in town as the scum even wave and moon at cameras but helps the police even if faces are covered to see sizes trainers etc.

Not heard of heat sensitive spot lights. any links? I have been told to look at perimeter sensors which trigger an alarm before they start attacking the doors and windows. Depressing really.

Sorry I meant stuff like motion sensors on lights etc.....

Stronger door locks, laminated ground floor windows it all aids in making lt even more difficult for them

Thats a good read thanks Ian. I think there are many who would take your car.

You know what I meant haha

Seriously, check out the Blackjax

My first trip to Le Mans 10 years ago, one of the guys in our convoy had a tweaked Impreza and had the Blackjax installed. Pain in the arse when moving it around the campsite, doing photos around the circuit, when jumping out for toll booths. BUT if anyone takes the keys they DON'T get the car.

And after a while you'll just enter the code on autopilot just like I climb into a car, feet on clutch and brake, put my seat belt on etc etc

Thanks for the replies,
Clifford blackjax was on top of my security list. Very reasonable to buy but how much have people been paying to fit?
OBD? The diagnostics port? So they can start the car from that can they? Jeez.
I wasn't going to go for the performance but it was available in the showroom and had the balcony leather, HUD, panoramic, phonebox, adaptive cruise and advance keyless go.
Brushed aluminium us t my first choice but unless I'm willing to wait ages (which I'm not!) it's pretty much my perfect car.
Quick question, is the reversing camera standard on performance?

Thanks all.
