Nice idea Rob. I considered this too and think they will look good on the S4, but remember that going from a 17" to 19" wheel, even with presumably a lower profile tyre, you will be increasing the rolling radius significantly, which will put your speedo out a bit but also reduce acceleration slightly due to the gearing being set up for 17" 225/45 wheels/tyres - a good excuse for a remap though!

If you ask Gavsteryoung nicely, he might have time to show you what they would look like on your car - he's a whizz with photoshop or something like that.

I assume you didnt mean 19 foot wheels Rob - that really would be a bit extreme!!!

Gavster - can you help...? I have a red S4...may have a pic somewhere....

I'm sure I came across a site somewhere that you selected the car and loaded the wheels in, it superimposed the wheels onto the car for you...

19" should be perfect for the s4 as long as you lower the car.
Dont worry about rolling radius. As long as you change tyre profile accordingly you probably wont notice much difference.
Tramlining may increase with a wide 19", also if the wheel weight is heavier you will be increasing the unsprung weight of the car , which can change the handling slightly.

Heres the tyre selector link:

Perfect! - just a shame they dont have the RS6 19" wheels to superimpose...

It looks impressive! Though, for me they look a bit too large for the car :)

I agree with you Alex - the RS6 style (Audi OEM) are of course now available in 17" and 18", but not sure about fitment for S4.
