Back in another rs6 :-)

Post by GAZ-MAN » Sun May 01, 2016 10:18 pm

Well I did a deal with the golf today with b7rs4saloon on here absolute cracking guy car was way better than described, has 53k with Audi history, stage 2 mrc with miltek exhaust, softclose doors, elec tailgate, new front discs and pads, tyres and serviced, so yeah I'm loving it being back in the c6, just ordered a rear spoiler for it and maybe thinking of getting some lowering springs anyone recommend any? Thanks

Would love to change the tailpipes to the ovals is there anywhere you can buy the tailpieces anyone know?

Looks good, lots of nice new bits and a MRC map thrown in too!

You can get the Ovals from Milltek direct (or MRC who a dealer) but they are shockingly expensive for what they are (think it was nearly £100 a side).

For springs the KW height adjustable springs (also packaged by MTM) seem to be the best bet.

Personally i'd get your current tail pipes cut and welded so they don't stick out so much and paint them black.

Looks a nice example, i sometimes wonder if i should have go with blue rather than high maintenance phantom black!

Nice car mate - welcome back. Which rear spoiler did you go for - do you have a link? Been looking for a more aggressive rear spoiler and not seen anything? Cheers.

I'm interested in the spoiler too. Nice C6. The 2nd best colour after Phantom :biggrin3:

Are your wheels light grey or is it the photo?
I'm having mine powder coated tomorrow and unsure if to go bright silver or shadow chrome.

Also interested in springs and spoiler.

Just seen the spoiler on your other photos on photobucket Looks good.
Do they go on top of the existing spoiler or does it replace? Can't see how the old one is fixed.

The original is bonded and you remove it before fitting the new spoiler.

How's best to remove? Heat gun?
I'm always dubious about modifications like this but do feel it needs a more aggressive spoiler.
Would be nice if the c7 spoiler would fit! Would prefer Audi original part
