Tony Levin (ultimate bass guru) uses these when playing, which might be a good alternative?

Tony Levin's pretty good. Mark King is the, er, king of bass though.

No doubt, he's a fine slapper indeed. But from that era, much like Phil Collins being a phenomenal drummer, I can't help but think they're both remembered for the wrong things.

I still have a soft spot for No Jacket Required though.
