Who's RS4meplease (was Mirrors and rails)

Post by runrowsam » Mon Mar 24, 2003 12:26 am

Here we go again, "little feller"! I may be "just a little boy" of 18, but I'm just the same as all you lot! I have the mind of a dirty old man, and, worryingly, the gorgeous young, firm, not-yet-bitchy girlfriend to go with it I can drive a bit too. You learn fast driving an oversteering Mini flat out!

The difference between you and the other members of this site is that we don`t continuously churn out irritating and egocentric "mine and my dad`s car" -stories.

Please tone down a bit or try Maxy P forums instead, you might achive a hero-status there.

That's a bit harsh.....

Anyone who shows an interest in performance cars should be encouraged even if they can't afford one today.

Agreed Jeff, no need to get personal...

Well having been classed as a rich pikey (Gypsy), I would side with Mika. Let's see some evidence RS4meplease, come to a meet, or maybe any pics of this RS4, Mini, and/or girlfriend; or are you just RS4alltheway and here to cause trouble....

By 'eck the handbags are all coming out here aren't they! Thanky you chaps for standing up for me! I'm stuck in this hole (Bath) until the weekend, then it's the easter break (WAHEY!) so I'll be off for a month. Well, sort of, lots of work to do of course. But I shall take the digital camera back and get a few pictures of the cars, and perhaps the girlfriend, although she's a bit camera shy and to be honest, is this a perve site?! But for the mean time, can we calm down the hostilities gentlemen?! We may be at war, but we are not exactly at war! As for the meets, I'm trying to convince the old boy to get his fat lazy ass up to High Wycombe-we shall see. I'd get there in the Mini if you really wanted, but it kinda defies the point! By the way, how am I to talk about the RS4, as it isn't mine (yet ), other than that of my father? All suggestions welcome.

And just one more point. This site I believe is an appreciation site of the fine cars that Audi make. The way I see it, with my degree, and my high prospects for a 1st, I could well be working for Audi in Management in my placement year in two years time, and then perhaps in a permanent job another year later. So, I think I have as much right as anybody to be here thank you very much! I love the cars, I know them backwards, and I MIGHT someday have a chance to influence Audi into continuing this superb tradition of high class, high speed, first class cars.

Rock on

PS - DAMN I sound like some girl with PMT or something in this post. Sorry if I offend anyone!

Riz,

If London is the arsehole of the universe then High Wycombe is about 30 miles up it!

Why, there are one or two turning up in cars other than Audis? Get along there, no excuses this time now

Yes it is and there are loads of people here who have contributed time and experience into making this site the best. There are plenty of other Audi sites around where people multiple-post, talk about the weather and about people they know who have done this and that.

If you want to be taken seriously start contributing starting with a vist to High Wycombe or even Castle Combe which is closer to you I think.
