Intake Blade Wrapping

Post by Zeebuilder » Mon Feb 29, 2016 8:44 pm

When speccing the car I didn't give the Alu pack a second thought but looking at a few examples I thought it really off set the wing mirrors and looked great in sepang.

Before ordering the OEM blades which I'm sure I could through Audi parts department I gave them a go with brushed Alu wrap.

DIY job took 20 min and cost £6

Very impressive. Any chance of sharing the products and method. I may well want to do my mirrors.

Looks great.

I was initially going to do the same. I wanted the alu look, but didn't want to spend £900 for it together with getting the front quattro badge (which in my opinion ruins the front of the car).

I asked a couple of companies that specialises in car wraps. The price would be in the ballpark of £250. £6 is more reasonable I would say :)

I bought a couple and had it booked into the guy who does some of my vans. Got bored on Sat afternoon and with the wife's hair dryer and a few you tube vids gave it a bash. Really impressed with results
