Looks like its confirmed the Audi line-up for Goodwood....

Audi Line up for the Hill Climb…..

Biela is driving:-
A4 DTM Touring Car
New RS4 Road Car

Hannu Mikkola will drive:-
Audi Sport S1 Quattro with 400bhp
Audi Sport Pikes Peak with 700bhp

It looks like the R8 will only be on display not driven…

I saw the new RS4 (it was the DTM pace car) today at Goodwood - man have to say after seeing it in the flesh that the new RS4 is one hell of a nice motor. I havent been keen from magazine shots i have seen but in the flesh it looked awesome - really wide arches and this car is going to have loads of road presence. It doesnt look too bling in Avus either.

Awesome is my opinion (and yes as a saloon too) and doesn't look like a s-line A4 either - I think its much nicer than the RS6 saloon.

I am much more enthusiastic having seen the car in the flesh.
It sounds superb, though I imagine this one has a tweaked exhaust.
Really looking forward to driving one as press seem to like this model, not having to fork out for superior suspension/brakes straight away also appeals.
I imagine the Milltek system for this V8 will be stunning.

Also nice to see the RS2/4/6 trio on the Audi stand with quattros of old too. Shame they didn't use a Goodwood Green example of the B5, mine was only parked in the Marriot car park, they only had to ask.

Hey guys....yes I agree with your comments, the B7 in the flesh looked lovely and the interior was pretty special too. I saw and more importantly heard the car up close as it was getting ready for the run yesterday. Had a good chat with the driver too....some more pics...











The RS's on the Audi stand looked good with the RS4 having all the GmBH kit (eg: brakes/discs, seats etc)

Interestingly, the Zonda took a spin on its run, 360 spin and hay bales here I come...ouch....now who's guessing how large that bill might be
