If that's the case, I might take 2 and just do both back callipers for good measure!

Didn't the C6 boys have little clip on bits which you could stick a decal too? It could have been the B7 rs4s

These are the stickers on mine. Image

Anyway changed the calliper. It was a genuine trw calliper that's been refurbished by trw and re sold so as new spec. The other rear was a genuine one replaced by unit 20 last year and three times the cost of the part. The only difference is the removal of the Audi marking by trw when they refurbish it leaving the trw stamp on the other side just like the genuine one.

Very pleased with getting it sorted before it damaged the disc or pads.

Cool. Where'd you get the caliper from?
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

It's a place in Worcester. Been using for a few years as my mate has a trade discount. They are £88.21 per calliper to me. There is however a £50 surcharge on the old calliper so fine for replacing but clearly adds if buying to store. They appear much like any other calliper just slightly larger. I don't mind getting more and posting to whoever wants one (or 2).

Have I got that good a deal then to make it viable even with postage ?
