Ah right. I never drive in S on the motorway generally unless there's a tool in an m3 playing silly buggers ;)

Always with me I mean in 7th gear.

ACC will put the car in 7th, even if in sport.

Me neither. I wonder if the C7 does this too.

Lol, I was going to add that bit, but I meant if it selects a particular gear when in ACC.

Firstly!!! The Ferrari Golf, has normal vw cruise control on it.... I am now more dangerous with cruise, as I got so used to ACC!!

And then recovery, that was always simple if i needed it, hoof the gas, and then click res.

Off topic: but I have blown the Turbo on the missus Ferrari Golf plus beast.... bugger!!! block is good for 300bhp tho, and the DSG is good for it too, and why the hell not?

Back on topic, i really like the pre sense technology that comes with the ACC - the red "wanker" light as I used to call it saved me from looking like a fool, stopped me from winding people and the police up, and reduced the stone ships. And the presence system, just gives you extra margin, and safety even if you do mess up - by preloading all the car's safety systems.
Zero Drama
