Right, as expected, it has now moved into the paint Shop!

You'd think Audi would have a password enabled webcam to allow you seeing the build progress of your car. My kitchen company can do it, why can't they?

Didn't you know? I could go into how the titanium blades are fitted, but you will find a decent video of it on pornhub

I've ditched the Blue carbon for normal carbon now...
Hope your loving the car Mike. One question - has yours been delivered with honeycomb alcantara and normal carbon ?

When I ordered mine - (bw16 now) I couldn't spec blue carbon without alcantara. AUK also confirmed this to be the case but that doesn't look like your experience if I have understood correctly.

(Come to think about it, Maybe they allow carbon with honeycomb alcantara, but not blue carbon with leather - I don't think I asked that)

(Can't see you regretting the assistance pack btw. Lane assist is a bit unusual, I don't use it at all, but radar cruise makes cruise control make sense - that and the matrix beams are easily my favourite options on my current car.)

Thanks

Yes I have alacantara with blue honeycomb stitching and normal carbon trim. This is selectable on the Configurator. I'd have thought you could do it the other way ie leather with blue carbon but if audi UK said you can't then maybe that's true. Have you tried it on the configurator? The blue seats and blue carbon are the standard trims for the Performance and I'd have assumed you could pick the leather and keep the blue carbon.

Yes, the ACC is really good, and the lane assist is odd. The matrix lights are quite impressive and work really well on the unlit roads around here.

Set Acc at 70mph, turn on lane assist (make sure the indicator is green, i.e. locked on). Let go... serious, how far from automated cars are we?

Then repeatedly do it infront of mates, friends, and family. Vary the speed and conditions.....

Does it still work if you let go? It says that you have to be holding the wheel; not sure if that is just to discourage people from letting go or if it actually is looking for a little resistance on the wheel.
