RS4 Thoughts and Advice

That's what made me think it was a mk2. However, when I swapped my fascias over I left the buttons and knobs as they were so I have an mk1 with a media button and silver knobs.

Later Mk1's had silver knobs too.

I too have had my eye on these two vehicles and have phones to ask a bit more about the dealer one. I'm not buying just yet have have to sort out a few financial things, so no fear of competition with the OP. Thanks also to all you guys, I'm learning loads about these cars, man you guys know your stuff.

The dealer told me that the car had 5 previous owners, which he said was standard for RS models? Really? Have I missed something. 42,000 miles and 5 owners...

Also, if the dealer pushes a potential purchaser to almost £26k, would it not be worth a try to get one of those MINT ultra low mileage ones for c£30k? Sadly I don't have c£30

High owners can be common with performance cars. Check the service history all adds up though. Five isn't really high though.

I think my car had 3 owners at 24k miles.
