Hi all
Just joined and really enjoying the site, and firstly apologises as I'm sure this will have been done in the past many times (I think) but really would appreciate any new/fresh construtive input.
Recently sold my highly modified Subaru (not an old one but a fairly new one) and I've decided I want either an S4 or S5 which leads me to my plea of help.
I would plan to get the Revo tweak done on whatever version I buy and I am lookng at around a 2010 model, 3 litre supercharged version and most likely the Triptronic.
I'm split between them both and looking for some real pro/cons on them both -
* is handling the same in both or is one much better,
* given it will be same engine does the S5 drink considerably more petrol,
* is there anything around the 2010 era I need to be aware of,
* on going to view is there anything you'd highly recommend I ensure it has with regards to goodies or areas to check to ensure all well,
* I have a young child but that shouldn't sway the recommendations guys as we have 3 cars up our driveway and they will be used mostly to transport our daughter.
I also notice Audi approved are currently providing 2 year warranty with any purchase, should this be a big sway to use them or is it a case I can buty privately and pay Audi for the warranty cover as I imagine their cars will have a £....k or 2 added on to their showroom prices.
I really would like some good advice from folk who will know these models much better than myself.
Thanks folks for any advice.
S4 or S5 - Sorry
Re: S4 or S5 - Sorry
It will be interesting to see if there are many on here that have owned both for any length of time.

I'll be surprised if many owned both around the same model/year, but hopefully a few may have had this similair dilemna and can share why they went for one over the other or indeed they took both cars out in good test drives and came to a strong conclusion.Noyjatat wrote:It will be interesting to see if there are many on here that have owned both for any length of time.
